Journalistic Work
At the moment, I am writing a monthly column for the German business magazine CAPITAL which is unfortunately not available online. In addition, I contribute for a number of German media, among others the Financial Times Deutschland, die tageszeitung, the Berliner Zeitung, stern.de and Spiegel Online. A list of a selection of recent journalistic articles can be found on the (German) starting page of my homepage. Unfortunately, the articles are all in German.
In English, I have published a few pieces on Eurointelligence on the German Economy:
Misplaced Scepticism about the German Growth Potential, June 26, 2007
When Will the Myth of the Bazaar Economy Disappear at last, February 19, 2007
Why the German Tax Reform is Misguided, April 27, 2007
In addition, the pieces I have written for the blog Eurozone Watch are also rather journalistic and easily digestible (so I hope).
Former Work as a journalist for FT Deutschland
From 2000 to 2007, when I was working as a staff writer at FT Deutschland, I have published more than 1000 articles in the Financial Times Deutschland, covering current issues of national and international macroeconomics (both fiscal and monetary policy), currency and financial crisis, economics and economic policy. My work contains simply reporting about current events, comments and analysis as well as longer feature articles.
